TRIPOLI May 05. 2024 (Saba) - The first international conference on tangible and intangible heritage began in the Libyan capital Tripoli on Sunday with the participation of the Executive Director of al-Hudhud /Hoopoe Center for Archaeological Studies Dr. Hadeel al-Selwi.
The conference, which is being held by the National Project for Tangible and Intangible Heritage of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research during the period May 5-6, with the participation of academics, researchers, centers and bodies from various Arab countries, aims to introduce the importance of heritage, find scientific and research solutions to the challenges facing tangible and intangible heritage, and come up with recommendations for Its sustainability.
It is noteworthy that center will sign an agreement of mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of preserving Yemeni and Libyan heritage, which will have a significant impact on interest in heritage of the two countries.
